From Santa snaps to cake catchups—Khesanh is made in Brookside.
What’s one of the reasons that keeps you coming back to Brookside: It’s our local. I can do everything here without braving the bigger shopping centres where everything is on steroids.
If you were given a $200 voucher, which shop would you spend it in: I would have to split it between Robin’s Kitchen, Price Attack and Sportsgirl. Gotta have my staples covered!
Khesanh’s Brookside Story Khesanh has been a part of the Brookside community for 18 years. She used to work in the Myer here.
Khesanh loves that Brookside still has that small centre feel for a big shopping precinct. It makes shopping enjoyable. She always gets to park in her special spot and never has to rush—which means there’s always time for a sweet treat (or several). Some of her most treasured memories have happened over a slice of cake at Brookside.
Like many families of Brookside, a real highlight is when Santa comes to town. Khesanh and her family always try to think of fun ways to make Santa photos different each year—like dressing up as Hawaiian surfers or covering Santa in tinsel. Santa always goes along with it like a champion. It’s a tradition they can’t wait to continue.
“Brookside, thanks for all the fun times we’ve had and the ones to come!”
