Their Brookside Story Matthew is a Brookside veteran. He’s been shopping here since he was eight years old. And now he and his wife, Lisa, take their own son, Franklin. Their favourite part of coming to Brookside is running into people they know—which happens every visit.
But they can also never go past the Brookside Book Swap*. Franklin always finds something that lights up his eyes. And it’s a great experience to bring things back for the next person to enjoy. It’s one of the things that makes Brookside feel more like a community than a shopping centre to Matthew.
Whether it’s stopping for a chat and a babyccino, picking up the next bedtime book or being caught red-handed by his students with a haul of Tim Tams, Matthew and his family will be coming to Brookside for years to come.
